Are Minnesota’s largest fur farms closed? This past summer and fall, activists visited two of what were believed to be the largest mink farms in the state. The first was Mueller Bros. Mink Ranch, in the city of Kimball. Of the dozens of sheds on the farm, many were found to be empty. If not closed, this farm’s operations have been significantly reduced.
Another of Minnesota’s largest fur farms, the Royal Oak Mink Ranch in the town of Sauk Centre was also discovered to be largely (completely?) empty this fall. The only activity on the farm was a tractor busy cleaning out the sheds. This footage 
was taken inside one of the farm’s huge sheds.
