Activists had been in contact with the largest coffee chain in Denmark last year about switching to plant based milk as default, and after applying pressure to the company, they agreed they’d try out plant based by default in Copenhagen from January 2024. They lied.
Because of this, activists put super glue in the locks of many of their cafes in Copenhagen and left a clear message on their doors: “ditch dairy”. Activists also left the same message on several other of their cafes, as well as the entrance to their main office in Denmark.
It’s of course not only dairy that we’re against, but all abuse, exploitation and killing, but dairy seems to be the easiest place to start with cafes.
