At Least 21 Primates Freed from Laboratory in Puerto Rico
According to news reports, late Saturday/early Sunday at the Sabana Seca Field Station of the Caribbean Primate Research Center, a cage was forced open and at least 21 monkeys were freed. The field station is located in Toa Baja, a town on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, where Puerto Rico’s Department of Natural and Environmental Resources estimates that some 550 rhesus monkeys and 200 pata monkeys live in the wild.News reports are, of course, claiming the primates are dangerous, infected with viruses, and are being recaptured. This is not unusual spin orchestrated by the targeted facilities and their perpetrators of animal abuse.

The Lonely American
“A generation has fallen down the rabbit hole of electronic
hallucinations—with images often dominated by violence and pornography. They have become, in the words of the philosopher Hannah Arendt, “atomized,” sucked alone into systems of information and entertainment that cater to America’s prurient fascination with the tawdry, the cruel and the deadening cult of the self.”Mayor’s Car In Bullfighting Town Goes Up In Flames
“The town of Céret (France) organizes bullfights: torture and murder of animals. We set fire to the car of the wife of the Mayor of Ceret so that this massacre stops. The plastic white gate and the light on in the house that night did not prevent us from acting. We want justice for animals and we will get it. ALF”

Tradecraft: Resisting Interrogation 101
Interrogation is now commonplace in the United States. It may not be in room with a hot light, it may not be in a detention center. It may not be under torture. It may be something as simple as questioning on the side of the road. It may be by a private individual and not a law enforcement officer. The first rule of dealing with cops: don’t. Ask for your lawyer, and keep your mouth shut.

This Online Anonymity Box Puts You a Mile Away From Your IP Address
“IN THE GAME of anonymity-versus-surveillance online, the discovery of
the user’s IP address usually means game over. But if Ben Caudill has
his way, a network snoop who successfully hunts a user through layers of proxy connections to a final IP address would be met with a dead
end—while the anonymous user remains safe at home more than a mile away.”
