For Immediate Release
July 18, 2014
In an anonymous communique received by the North American Animal Liberation Press Office this week, the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) claims to have targeted the Canadian Association for Laboratory Animal Science in Toronto, an apologist group for the outdated practice of imprisoning, torturing and killing innocent non-human animals in research laboratories.
The recent communique reads in full:
On July 14, 2014, in Toronto, the Animal Liberation Front injected butyric acid into the office of the Canadian Association for Laboratory Animal Science. CALAS is an organization made up of vivisectors that promotes animal research. The butyric acid will soak through the carpet and into the floorboards of their offices, and major repairs will be needed to get rid of the stench. Any building managers considering taking in CALAS as a tenant should be aware that unless you want something similar to happen in your offices, then think twice before doing business with these murderers. -ALF
As research institutions continue to throw away scarce medical research funding on cruel, antiquated and useless animal experimentation, other centers utilize and conduct modern medical research that is far more likely to result in cures for human disease such as that treated by medical clinicians on a daily basis. Refusal to discontinue their futile and torturous animal research can be expected to yield additional consequences for vivisectors at the hands of activists who are willing to risk their own lives and freedom to help these enslaved and tormented animals.
