In Derbyshire on Tuesday the 14th August a rabbit was liberated from solitary confinement in a hutch much too small that hadn’t been cleaned out for god knows how long. There was urine and inches of faeces all over it – all this coupled with the warm weather creates perfect conditions for flys to multiply, putting the rabbit at severe risk of flystrike.
The poor bunny had no hay or pellets so was very hungry!!!
The rabbit is now on its way to a fosterer while provisions for a permanent home are made.
Thanks to the activist who saved this rabbit one less animal will be suffering from neglect tonight.
Wherever animal abuse takes place, the ALF are watching!!!
Until every cage is empty!!
