Deer Liberation Front attacks!<\/p>\n

On the night of August 6, the gratings of a breeding farm of the State Agricultural Institute of Fribourg were cut and about a hundred deer were able to escape and find refuge and relative freedom in the forest.<\/p>\n

These animals, whose ancestors lived in the wild European forests, were being kept in captivity in the Sorens farm, where they were destined to be killed for their meat or sold for \u201cthe renewal of blood in many farms.\u201d<\/p>\n

This type of liberation and sabotage action, which is fairly easy to implement, makes it possible on the one hand for individuals to escape confinement and certain assassination, and on the other it leads to significant economic losses For those responsible for animal exploitation.<\/p>\n

We attack the Agricultural Institute of the State of Fribourg, a state structure deeply involved in the oppression of human and non-human animals and in the destruction of the environment. In addition to dealing with various commercial farms (deer, cattle and milk marketing, fattening and sale of pigs), this institute also has a research function (experimentation in animal production), education and training for breeders. In addition to being one of the main actors in the perpetuation of livestock in Switzerland, the Agricultural Institute of the State of Fribourg is clearly part of the crushing policy pursued by agrobusiness against small peasant farmers who strive to practice autonomous agriculture without destroying the land. This is expressed in particular through a partnership with Agroscope (the federal competence center for agricultural research), which is the main Swiss actor linking scientific research with the agri-food sector and acting in favor of the introduction of GMOs In Switzerland, in particular by managing the field of GMO experimentation in Reckenholz (ZH).<\/p>\n

Ce type d\u2019action d\u2019\u00e9vasion et de sabotage, assez facile \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre, permet d\u2019une part \u00e0 des individus d\u2019\u00e9chapper \u00e0 l\u2019enfermement et \u00e0 un assassinat certain et de l\u2019autre engendre des pertes \u00e9conomiques non n\u00e9gligeables pour les responsables de l\u2019exploitation animale.<\/p>\n

En s\u2019attaquant \u00e0 l\u2019Institut agricole de l\u2019Etat de Fribourg on touche une structure \u00e9tatique profond\u00e9ment impliqu\u00e9e dans l\u2019oppression des animaux humains et non-humains et dans la destruction de l\u2019environnement. En effet, en plus de s\u2019occuper de divers \u00e9levages commerciaux (\u00e9levage de cerfs, de bovin et commercialisation de lait, engraissement et vente de porcs gras), cet institut a aussi une fonction de recherche (exp\u00e9rimentation en production animale) et d\u2019enseignement et de formation pour des \u00e9leveurs et \u00e9leveuses. De plus, au-del\u00e0 d\u2019\u00eatre un des acteurs principaux de la perp\u00e9tuation de l\u2019\u00e9levage en Suisse, l\u2019Institut agricole de l\u2019Etat de Fribourg s\u2019inscrit clairement dans la politique d\u2019\u00e9crasement men\u00e9es par les fili\u00e8res agroalimentaires \u00e0 l\u2019encontre des petit-e-s paysan-anne-s qui s\u2019efforcent de pratiquer une agriculture autonome et ne d\u00e9truisant pas la terre.
