While the majority of Mexican families were preparing Christmas food and were putting on their expensive costumes purchased only to be used on this brief day and were preparing to receive their families and treat them hypocritically, we the Frente de Liberaci\u00f3n Animal – Comando Verde Negro found ourselves on the shores of an enormous lake with a turtle ready to regain her freedom and her wild instincts, denied for many years by anthropocentric speciesism.<\/p>\n
This turtle was found in captivity living day after day imprisoned, inert with no companions, until we rescued her from the pathetic and monotonous life that she had been living.<\/p>\n
When we saw the large lake, the turtle began kicking her legs as if she remembered life before her capture; we left her on the shore and she quickly, happily submerged herself in the water.<\/p>\n
Truly this is what animal liberation is, the always unforgettable rescue and release.<\/p>\n
After a period of time underwater admiring the birds that were flying in the blue sky and the rays of the sun, the turtle came out of the water, she saw us for the last time and submerged herself again, to begin a life free and without the domination of her body, her food, and more.<\/p>\n
Ready yourself to liberate animals and you will do it!

Mientras la mayor\u00eda de las familias mexicanas preparaban la comida de navidad y se pon\u00edan sus trajes caros comprados para solo ser usados en esta fecha ef\u00edmera y se preparaban para recibir a sus familias y tratarlas hip\u00f3critamente, nosotrxs el Frente de Liberaci\u00f3n Animal – Comando Verde Negro nos encontr\u00e1bamos a las orillas de una enorme laguna con una tortuga lista para recuperar su libertad y sus instintos salvajes, negados por el especismo antropoc\u00e9ntrico desde hace muchos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
Esta tortuga se encontraba en cautiverio viviendo d\u00eda tras d\u00eda encarcelada, inerte sin ninguna compa\u00f1\u00eda, hasta que la rescatamos de la vida pat\u00e9tica y mon\u00f3tona que estaba llevando.<\/p>\n
Cuando vimos la gran laguna la tortuga empez\u00f3 a patalear como si recordara lo vivido antes de su captura, la dejamos en la orilla y corriendo se sumergi\u00f3 feliz en el agua.<\/p>\n
Esto es lo que verdaderamente es la liberaci\u00f3n animal, el rescate y la liberaci\u00f3n siempre inolvidables.<\/p>\n
Despu\u00e9s de un lapso de tiempo admirando las aves que volaban en el cielo azul bajo la laguna y los rayos del sol, la tortuga sali\u00f3 del agua, nos vio por \u00faltima vez y se sumergi\u00f3, para empezar una vida libre y sin dominaci\u00f3n sobre su cuerpo, su comida y dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
