The Frente de Liberaci\u00f3n Animal (Vegan Brigades) claims the painting of walls at a Burger King and McDonalds during the October 2 march in Mexico City, as well as complicity with groups and individuals sympathetic to direct action and economic sabotage in an attack on a KFC where their shutters were kicked-in and their windows smashed.<\/p>\n
‘In Mexico, October 2, 1968 is an unforgettable date as the fascist state in complicity with the companies that currently control economic globalization carried out a massacre against students’: this is the speech that we have always heard, but what many do not realize is that just as in that year a genocide took place against the individual and collective freedoms of those people, those same massacres are happening every day against non-human animals, but with much more cruelty and much more violence than what the students lived in those years.<\/p>\n
That is why our actions were against violence, our blows were sound and our attacks radical.<\/p>\n

“En M\u00e9xico el 2 de Octubre de 1968 es una fecha inolvidable pues el estado fascista en complicidad con las empresas que hoy d\u00eda rigen el sistema de globalizaci\u00f3n en todo el mundo llevaron acabo una masacre contra estudiantes”: este es el discurso que siempre o\u00edmos, pero lo que muchos no se dan cuenta es que as\u00ed como en ese a\u00f1o se llevo un genocidio contra la libertad individual y colectiva de aquellas personas, esas mismas matanzas est\u00e1n ocurriendo d\u00eda con d\u00eda contra los animales no humanos, con mucha mas crueldad y mucha mas violencia que lo que vivieron los estudiantes en aquellos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
Es por eso que nuestros accionar fue contra-violento, nuestros golpes fueron certeros y nuestros ataques radicales.<\/p>\n
