Communiqu\u00e9 from the Animal Liberation Front

One fine day (July 17) the owner of a pet store in Mexico State went happily to his business of animal imprisonment, intent on carrying out his speciesist work of dominating other species. As he was preparing to open the padlocks on his store, he realized that pieces of metal were glued inside the key holes and that it would be impossible to open it. An expression of anger, frustration and desperation was written on his face; while trying to open the lock he was completely enraged; ‘vandals’ had already done the same thing several times before. He tried to put a barrier around the padlocks so that this would not keep happening, but nothing worked. This story was happening at the same time in a half dozen businesses of animal exploitation, acts claimed by the ALF of Mexico.<\/p>\n
We are aware that these acts are just a nuisance to the exploiters, but by using sabotage that is consistent and direct, we have managed to close businesses of animal extinction in Mexico (like the poultry exploitation shop last year and the cockfighting business this year). In the same way we know that all actions are important from these (sealing locks) to arson that causes thousands of pesos in losses, and animal liberation; what matters is to break the established order of this society that is based in egocentrism and ambition.<\/p>\n
Apart from this, we send an incendiary greeting in this communique to activists from Guadalajara, Mexico City and the new cells in Guanajuato. The sabotage will spread throughout Mexico, the animal and earth liberation movements expand more and more all the time, and as an indigenous person once said, ‘We’re going slow, we’re going deliberately, because we are going far!’<\/p>\n

\ngesto de enojo, frustraci\u00f3n y desesperaci\u00f3n se dibujo en su cara, mientras intentaba abrir el candado totalmente enfadado, ya eran varias veces que varixs’v\u00e1ndalxs’ hab\u00edan hecho lo mismo, intent\u00f3
\nponer una protecci\u00f3n en donde iban los candados para que esto no volviera a pasar, pero de nada hab\u00eda servido, la misma historia estaba ocurriendo en esos mismos momentos en media docena de comercios de explotaci\u00f3n animal, acto reivindicado por el ALF de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n
Somos consientes de que estos actos son solo una molestia para lxs explotadorxs, pero con el sabotaje consecuente, cualitativo y directo hemos logrado cerrar diferentes comercios de extinci\u00f3n animal en M\u00e9xico (como lo fue una tienda de explotaci\u00f3n av\u00edcola el a\u00f1o pasado y un negocio de peleas de gallos en este a\u00f1o). De igual manera sabemos que todas las acciones son importantes desde esta (sellar candados) hasta el incendio intencionado que causa miles de pesos en perdidas y la liberaci\u00f3n animal, lo que importa es romper el orden establecido de esta sociedad hundida en el egocentrismo y la ambici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Por otro lado, mandamos desde este comunicado un saludo incendiario ha lxs compa\u00f1erxs de Guadalajara, del Distrito Federal y las nuevas c\u00e9lulas en Guanajuato, que el sabotaje se expanda en todo M\u00e9xico,
\nel movimiento de liberaci\u00f3n animal y de la tierra se extiende cada vez mas y como alg\u00fan dicho ind\u00edgena dice: ‘Vamos lento, vamos pausado, porque vamos lejos!’<\/p>\n
