Greetings from Mexico:
\nWe are the group ‘Art as Crime, Crime as Art’ from several municipalities in Mexico State.
\nWe know very well the atrocities that Telmex commits as an earth-destroying company and as a sponsor of bullfighting. Because we are conscious and do not want to stay passive before such a situation, we have sabotaged different Telmex booths, but in a different, imaginative way and with the end being to make known to the people who cooperate with Telmex what goes on behind the scenes at that company.\"\"<\/p>\n

\nOur actions were:<\/p>\n

+ The handset of a phone booth was sabotaged, a little object made of almost-dry bamboo plant was left in a battered bottle filled with dirty water, beneath it a small writing was also left:<\/p>\n

The seas are covered in filth
\nColors deserted
\nGo somewhere and you will find them
\nTell me if it’s not true<\/p>\n

Now there is no greatness in them
\nThe green vomit
\nChanged them in the torment
\nAnd the human is at fault<\/p>\n

Does not make the most of what is beautiful
\nThat is spectacular from the earth
\nAnd has transformed it into an appalling
\nAnd large dungeon<\/p>\n

I leave you this plant
\nwith green water
\nSimilar to the planet
\nIn the decadent life …<\/p>\n

+ A telephone cable was sabotaged, and the opening where the card is placed in order to speak was blocked-up, making using it impossible; trash was spread about and a little message was left:<\/p>\n

Trees cut down
\nHills altered
\nEcosystems damaged
\nA planet destroyed<\/p>\n

That is what Telmex leaves in its wake
\nFor civilization to expand
\nThey have the earth in a saucepan
\nSo that the powerful can enjoy eating it<\/p>\n

Greed, greed and more greed
\nProduced by civilization
\nDeposit your garbage here
\nOr begin your own destruction<\/p>\n

+ A phone booth was sabotaged with fire (which left it badly damaged) and a small object was left which consisted of a flower made from an aluminum can and the following message was left:<\/p>\n

The skies are gray
\nThe seas black
\nThese same matrixes
\nThe hills are dead<\/p>\n

Your consumerism destroys
\nThe whole planet
\nWith money you contribute
\nTo give a certain blow<\/p>\n

It is true that the future
\nWill be strange
\nWill be very dark
\nAnd from a can there will now be flowers …<\/p>\n

This is only a demonstration of what our group has begun to do against Telmex, with poetic terrorism, the sabotage of art, imagination and the desire to destroy all that is harmful to us.<\/p>\n
