Twas the night in the fur farm
\nIn my prison I lie
\nDeprived of freedom
\nNo one heard my cry<\/p>\n
I used to live in the forest
\nWhere I’d roam wild and free
\nAnd do all the things
\nThat came natural to me<\/p>\n
One day I was roaming
\nIn a trap I got caught
\nI tried to get loose
\nIt hurt as I fought<\/p>\n
I saw a human coming
\nI thought he would help
\nIn a cage I was thrown
\nIn pain I did yelp<\/p>\n
The next thing I knew
\nI was enclosed and confined
\nWith many other animals
\nAll of my kind<\/p>\n
The Humans here are cruel
\nAnd very inhumane
\nThey electrocute our genitals
\nAnd cause agonizing pain<\/p>\n
They beat us to death
\nOr skin us alive
\nAll for our fur
\nSo their business will thrive<\/p>\n
One very dark night
\nI heard someone creep by
\nIt was a very large human
\nWas it my turn to die?<\/p>\n
He was dresses all in black
\nFrom his head to his toe
\nHis eyes I could see
\nTheir kindness did show<\/p>\n
He opened each cage
\nAs he walked down the hall
\nThen said \u201cdash away,
\ndash away, dash away all\u201d.<\/p>\n
I ran out of my prison
\nAnd off in the night
\nAs I turned around
\nHe was nowhere in sight<\/p>\n
Some human’s say he’s a terrorist
\nI don’t believe that you see
\nThis man is a hero
\nHe set me free<\/p>\n
The bad humans are
\nThose who make us bleed
\nJust for a profit
\nMoney and greed<\/p>\n
And those who wear fur
\nThink they have good taste
\nYour’ just as cruel
\nCarcasses around your waist<\/p>\n
Next time you go shopping
\nTo buy something to wear
\nMake sure is has no animal
\nSkin, fur or hair.<\/p>\n
