It reinforces the violence of cis men. Weapons in hand, they think they control non-humans and their habitats, but also women, gender minorities and children. We act in solidarity with all forest dwellers and all other people who are damaged by the hunters.<\/p>\n<p>Some figures about France:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>97% of French hunters are men<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 of femicides are committed with hunting weapons<\/li>\n<li>There is no law prohibiting children from going hunting from the age of 15, a minor can practice \u201caccompanied hunting\u201d from the age of 16, a minor can take his hunting license and use a weapon<\/li>\n<li>in 2023, the State has committed to paying new aid to hunters (\u20ac60 million over 3 years)<\/li>\n<li>More than 1.5 million euros have been distributed to the federations for various \u201ceducational\u201d projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anti-speciesism is a political struggle connected to all the others. When we normalize the violence of speciesism (a system of domination based on species), we fuel racism, sexism, ableism, MOGAI phobias\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The animalization of bodies makes it possible to justify all oppressions, an \u201canimal\u201d body is a body that can be crushed.<\/p>\n<p>We cannot envisage the total liberation of oppressed people without our non-human comrades!<\/p>\n<p>The only pests are those who enjoy power and domination.
