\n<\/strong>On their return from a morning\u2019s hunting, several members of the ACCA Le Rallye seurrois had the displeasure of finding nails hammered into their tires. For the association\u2019s president, this was a deliberate act, aimed specifically at hunters.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Sunday, October 27. Johan Tillet, secretary of the ACCA (association communale de chasse agr\u00e9\u00e9e) Le Rallye seurrois, a local hunting association, is making the short journey home by car after a morning\u2019s hunting. But he discovers a flat tire caused by a dozen nails.<\/p>\n

How did they get there? And especially so many? He says he didn\u2019t realize immediately that his tires were riddled with nails until he got home. \u201cAt noon, another hunter called to tell me that he also had nails stuck in his four tires, and then others also contacted me shortly afterwards.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johan Tillet decided to retrace his steps to find the origin of the nails, and it was on a communal road leading to the route de Lanthes that more nails were found, as well as in a parking lot not far from \u00c9tang-Rouge. \u201cThere were several hundred nails across the road and in the parking lot. This represents a strip about 30 to 40 cm wide and 5 to 6 meters long\u201d, he explains.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we were targeted,\u201d continues Johan, \u201csince this passageway leads to a hunting cabin.\u201d He passed on a message encouraging those who had suffered this vandalism to lodge a complaint with the gendarmerie. At least seven vehicles belonging to members of the association were affected.<\/p>\n

Il assure ne pas s\u2019\u00eatre rendu compte tout de suite que ses pneus \u00e9taient cribl\u00e9s de clous, seulement en rentrant chez lui. \u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 midi, un autre chasseur m\u2019a appel\u00e9 pour me dire qu\u2019il avait aussi des clous plant\u00e9s dans ses quatre pneus, puis d\u2019autres m\u2019ont aussi contact\u00e9 peu de temps apr\u00e8s.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Johan Tillet d\u00e9cide de faire le chemin qu\u2019il a emprunt\u00e9 pour en trouver l\u2019origine, et c\u2019est sur un chemin communal menant \u00e0 la route de Lanthes que d\u2019autres clous ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9s ainsi que sur un parking situ\u00e9 non loin de l\u2019\u00c9tang-Rouge. \u00ab\u00a0Il y avait plusieurs centaines de clous mis en travers du chemin et sur le parking. Cela repr\u00e9sente une bande d\u2019environ 30 \u00e0 40\u00a0cm de large et 5 \u00e0 6 m\u00e8tres de long\u00a0\u00bb, explique-t-il.<\/p>\n
